KapMorgan replaces worn vinyl sweep seals and re-caulks shower door frames across Los Angeles. The vinyl seal along the bottom and sides of a shower door hardens, cracks and shrinks over time, and once it fails, water leaks past the door onto the bathroom floor. Old caulk around the door frame fails the same way, turning yellow, cracking, or peeling away from the tile or pan. we confirm the exact price on site, and most seal jobs finish in a single visit. Every estimate is free.

What’s Included

Problems We Fix

Los Angeles tap water runs hard in much of the city, and mineral buildup speeds up how fast a vinyl door seal turns brittle and starts to crack. Once the seal loses its shape, it no longer presses flat against the glass or the frame, and water finds its way through even a small gap during a normal shower. Replacing the seal is usually a quick fix, but if water has been getting past it for a while, we also check the caulk at the base of the frame, since that is often the next place it starts leaking.

Old caulk that has gone moldy along a shower door frame is more than a cosmetic problem — mold growing behind a bead of caulk can spread into the wallboard if it sits long enough. We remove the old bead completely, clean and dry the surface, and apply a fresh mold-resistant silicone bead so the seal actually holds rather than just covering over the existing mold.
