Who we are
KapMorgan LLC (“KapMorgan”, “we”, “us”) is a handyman service based in North Hills, Los Angeles, California, operating at kapmorgan.com. You can reach us at office@kapmorgan.com or (310) 696-8435.
What we collect
When you contact us through a form on this site, by phone, or by text message, we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the address where the work is needed, and whatever you tell us about the job.
If you send us photos of the work, we keep those photos.
If you book a job, we also keep the visit date and time, the price quoted and charged, a record of payments received, and notes about what was done.
When you visit the site, your browser sends us standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed.
Why we collect it
To give you a price, schedule a visit, do the work, and invoice you.
To contact you about your job by phone, text or email.
To keep records of jobs and payments for our own accounting and tax purposes.
To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
The person we assign to your job, who receives your name, address, phone number and the job details.
The platform your request came from, if it came through Thumbtack or Yelp. Those platforms already hold your request.
Payment services when you choose to pay by card (Square) or by Zelle. We do not see or store full card numbers.
Our website hosting and email providers, which process data on our behalf.
Google Analytics, which collects anonymous statistics about site traffic.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
How long we keep it
Records of completed jobs and payments are kept as long as we need them for business and tax records. Requests that did not become jobs are kept for up to two years, then deleted.
Cookies
This site uses cookies so that it works correctly, to remember whether you have already closed a pop-up, and to collect anonymous traffic statistics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may stop working if you do.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may send you text messages about your job, such as confirming a visit or letting you know we are on the way. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Standard message rates may apply.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email office@kapmorgan.com and we will respond. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under California law, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
Online orders
When you buy parts at kapmorgan.com/parts, we keep your name, email, phone and delivery address, the items, the amounts and the tax, to ship the order, send the confirmation and tracking emails, handle returns and keep the tax records the law requires.
Your card is entered on Square’s secure payment page and processed by Square (squareup.com/legal); we do not see or store card numbers. Your address is sent to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration rate service only to find the sales tax rate, and to the carrier to deliver the package.
The cart is kept in a small cookie on your device; it holds only the parts and quantities.
