The sliding closet doors were off track, with worn rollers and bent guide brackets that kept the doors from sliding smoothly. One door had the roller mechanism pulled loose from the panel, and the top track was bare wood with no molding to cover it.
We removed both 72" doors, took out the old tracks and roller hardware, and installed new tracks and rollers so the doors would glide evenly again. While the doors were down we also fitted a new molding strip along the top of the closet opening, which had been missing, and painted it to match the surrounding wall. Once the hardware and molding were in place, we rehung both doors, checked the alignment across the full width of the opening, and tested the slide action to confirm the doors moved freely without catching. This kind of closet & pocket door repair restored smooth, quiet operation to both closet doors in the bedroom.
