Exterior Door Painting in Chatsworth

This six-panel entry door in Chatsworth had a dated slate-blue finish that clashed with the bright, light hallway around it. We started by removing the smart lock and lever handle (lock and door hardware), then masked off the hinges, frame, walls and floor to keep everything clean. The door got a light sanding so the new coating would bond well, followed by a coat of primer to cover the old blue color. We finished it with two coats of paint in a soft light tone, working the paint into every raised panel and recessed edge. Once the paint was dry, the lock and handle went back in place. The result is a fresh, clean entry door that brightens the whole space and matches the white trim and walls.
